In October of 2002 I had to pay a visit to the hospital. They did a
quad bypass on my heart, I sure can't recommend it to anyone. I was in
and out in about a week. I sure
was sour for quite a while after I got home. I spent about a week
thinking that it was sure going to be nice when I could sleep on my side
again and then I spent a week or so thinking that I was never going to be
able to sleep on my side again. Finely I began to be able to shift some of my
weight to one side and the light at the end of the tunnel began to show
through. By now I can sleep anyway that I want to and I find it
enjoyable to do so. I am doing great. I am going to the Heart Rehabilitation
center three times per week and I walk about two and one half miles on the days
that I don't go. I have lost about thirty pounds from before the
operation but still have about forty more that it would be nice to loose
somewhere. The pounds are a lot harder to louse now than the early ones
were. Enough of that I am feeling fine and am looking forward to spring and the garden and grass mowing. My pickup truck is having problems in it's back(end). I need to fix it so I can get some fertilizer for the garden. It is just too cold now to start it but I am hoping the weather will break in a couple of weeks which should give me time without being too last with the garden. So for now we are all well and here enjoying Mississippi but looking forward to spring. Don |

I have been spending quite a bit of time working on
our family tree. ( It is a lot warmer than going outside.) The files
contain about 490 people with 110 different Surnames. so it took a lot more
that Illks to get me this far. I have put a it together and it is on
